Packing for Various Climates in Peru

The City, The Desert, The Village, The Mountains.

I'm going to Peru for 20 days, in four different atmospheres: Lima (warm and sunny), Nazca (dry and hot), Cusco (cool and windy), the Andes (cold and colder).  How will I manage to cram everything in this suitcase for nearly three weeks of travel in a suitcase that was meant for three days at most?!

Now that is a travel challenge. (yes, it's nothing compared to losing your passport, but still...)

TIPS
In terms of clothes, simply pack various tshirts. just 1 or 2 sweaters, a baseball cap and a wool cap, 1 pair of gloves and multiple socks and 1 pair of shorts and one or two pairs of pant and of course as many underwear as you like.  I suggest just about 8.

As you'll be sweating a lot in the warmer climates, you can wear a different tshirt every day or every other day, and your baseball cap.

The colder climates, you'll layer up on the tshirts, and wear one sweater.  When it gets super cold you can wear pants over your shirts.  Occassionally you'll go to the laundromat to keep your clothes clean and fresh.  Its better to pack less and wash now and then.  This way you can travel lighter and have lots of space for souveners.
